What is animation?
Stop motion/ model animation:
In animation stop motion animation is a cinematic process, or technique used to makes static objects appear as if they were moving. Examples of stop motion animation would be clash of the titans from 1981.
Computer generated animation:
Computer animation is the process used for generating animated images. The more general term computer-generated imagery (CGI) encompasses both static scenes and dynamic images, while computer animation only refers to the moving images. Examples of CGI would be the films Avatar and Toy Story.
Stop motion
animation is where you physically manipulate an objects movement through
capturing individual frames of movement. Placing the individual frames in a
sequence gives the illusion of an object moving on its own.
Different types of animation
Drawn/ cell animation:
A cel, short for celluloid, is a
transparent sheet on which objects are drawn or painted for traditional, hand-drawn animation. Examples of cel animation would be the film
